Meanwhile, when you cut a file using "Ctrl + X" keys, it is temporarily relocated to a virtual clipboard and after pasting it with "Ctrl + V" option, itwill be moved to a new location specified by you. The files that are moved using Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V keys, just take a replica of the original file, and pastes it in the destination location.Suppose, you selected a file that was in D: drive, using CTRL + X, and pasted it in the E: Drive using CTRL + V command, then the file will be moved from D: drive to the E: Drive.
